Who we are ?

Youth With A Mission (YWAM), or Jeunesse en Mission (JEM) in French, is an international missionary movement with the purpose of answering Christ’s call:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-20).
More than 60 years ago, a young man named Loren Cunningham received a vision.
“I saw all the continents. Waves were breaking on the shores: each wave rolled onto a continent, then receded, then came in further until it completely covered it … the waves became young people … and they covered the continents. They spoke to people on street corners, in front of cafés. They went from house to house. They preached.”

In 1960, he founded YWAM with his wife Darlene, and just as in this vision, they gave young people the opportunity to proclaim the gospel worldwide with a guiding principle: to know God and make Him known! Today, YWAM has become YWAM International. We work in over 150 countries with around 20,000 volunteer workers from all generations, nationalities, and Christian backgrounds.

Training

Hundreds of training programs offered by the University of the Nations (UofN) of YWAM International, some of which are delivered at YWAM Antilles, with the goal of equipping every Christian to better serve others and share the Love of Christ.



Just talk about Jesus !

Speak, share, and proclaim what we experience daily with Jesus to others, to our neighbors.
“Go and make disciples of all nations…”
To obey this great commandment, doing it together, with authenticity and simplicity.



Love like Jesus

It is to demonstrate God’s compassion toward all, based on Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

YWAM-Antilles

YWAM Antilles is part of the large family of ministries within YWAM International and YWAM Caribbean (JEM Caraïbes). We therefore share the same goal: to respond to Christ’s call:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18-20),and above all, the same passion that drives us: “ know God and make Him known,” rooted in shared values: our core values.
Since 2006, the pioneering work of JEM Guadeloupe began by offering training opportunities to Christians on the island. Since then, we have regularly hosted DTS (Discipleship Training Schools) from the University of the Nations. During these various schools, we have been able to share our passion in many places, such as Haiti, Saint Lucia, Martinique, French Guiana, and more. We have also organized “Couples Workshops,” youth weekends called “Jénérasyon Jédeyon,” and mission trip courses.
